Orthopaedics and trauma care at Shri Shyam Hospital, Kotputli

Our orthopaedic department sees patients with bone, joint, muscle and spine problems, and with injuries. Treatment can include medicines, physiotherapy, injections or surgery, depending on the condition. Your doctor will explain the options and the possible risks before any procedure.

Sub-specialities and doctors:

  • Trauma and overall: Dr Manoj Kumar Gupta
  • Arthroplasty (joint replacement): Dr Piyush Agarwal
  • Arthroscopy: Dr Praveen Khatri
  • Spine: Dr Nitin Goyal
  • Hand and reconstructive: Dr Amit Mittal
  • Foot and ankle: Dr Rahul U
  • Deformity correction and paediatric orthopaedics: Dr Deepak Khurana

Fractures: A fracture is a break in a bone. Some fractures heal with a cast or splint, and others need surgery to fix the bone in position. Early assessment helps lower the risk of lasting deformity. 24-hour trauma and emergency fracture care is available.

Joint replacement: Replaces a badly damaged hip, knee or shoulder joint with an artificial one. Usually considered when pain and stiffness continue despite other treatment. Most patients improve, but results vary and surgery carries risks, which your surgeon will discuss with you. Hip, knee and shoulder joint replacements are done here.

Arthroscopy and sports injuries: Arthroscopy uses a small camera and instruments through small cuts to examine and treat some joint problems. Procedures done here include ACL, PCL and rotator cuff.

Hand and reconstructive, foot and ankle, spine, children: Assessed in our orthopaedic OPD and treated or referred as needed.
